Whether you’re installing a new fluorescent system, or upgrading an old one, it’s a good idea to pay as much attention to the ballast as it is to the type of lamps you plan to use.

After all, a high-quality ballast can greatly increase the light output of your fluorescent tubes, dramatically reduce lighting power costs, save precious energy, prolong lamp life, reduce lamp end-blackening, and even allow you to use a wider variety of lamps.

Consider the H & H Electronic H.B.F. 114 ballast, for example.  It will power either one, two, three, or four F32T8 lamps. With its ballast factor of 114, it will increase the lumen output of a T8 tube by as much as 29%*. Hence, with the H.B.F. 114 ballast, a lamp with a lumen rating of 3050 will actually deliver nearly 3500 lumens!

The Electronic H.B.F. 114 is ideal for:

bulletThe H & H "Powermaster®" retrofit (ask for details).  Converting from four F40T12s to two Powr-Tek® T8's.
bulletUpgrade any T8, T10, or T12 system.
bulletWorks with four foot or eight foot fixtures.
bulletDramatically increase light levels without increasing power consumption.

Manufactured in the U.S.A. under rigid quality control standards, all H.B.F. 1.14 ballasts are covered by an exclusive five-year factory warranty.

*Based on standard electronic ballast rated @ .90 B. F.
