The Task-Master® traffic lamps use only the finest quality "soda lime" glass, offering exceptional clarity and uniform thickness. Unlike the "cloudy" glass found in some foreign imports, our glass ensures maximum visibility and durability in traffic signal applications.
Exclusive Basing Cement
Featuring a specially grooved glass bulb and heat-resistant basing glue that withstands temperatures in excess of 200º C, the Task-Master® traffic lamps ensure a permanent bond between the bulb and base, exceeding A.N.S.I. torque test standards for reliable performance.
Brass Base
The non-corroding brass base is designed to prevent "freezing" or welding to the socket, unlike aluminum bases, ensuring easy maintenance and long-term reliability in traffic signal installations.
Built-In Fuse Wire
Equipped with a built-in fuse wire, this bulb offers additional protection against damage to sockets and controls in the event of an electrical "arc-out," making it a safer choice for critical traffic signal operations.
